Our goal isn’t to build the most homes. It’s to build better homes.
Meet Jamie + Jordan
We're Jamie and Jordan Smith—a husband-and-wife team combining speculative home building with real estate expertise to create a seamless experience from the ground up.
Jamie is the builder behind every JSII Builders home, thoughtfully designing and constructing high-quality speculative homes with timeless style and exceptional craftsmanship. Jordan brings each home to market, helping buyers find not just a house, but a place to call home. Together, we offer a unique perspective that bridges construction and real estate, giving our clients confidence through every step of the process.
When we're not working, you'll usually find us chasing around our two young children or spending weekends at the motocross track. As a family, we love everything outdoors, and that appreciation for home, family, and community influences every project we take on.
Whether you're purchasing one of our move-in-ready homes or simply following along with our journey, we're grateful you're here.
Meet Tyler
A York, South Carolina local, Tyler is the right-hand man of JSII Builders and an essential part of every project. As superintendent, he helps keep each build moving by coordinating schedules, managing day-to-day details, and finding practical solutions to whatever challenges arise along the way.
Reliable, resourceful, and always ready to help, Tyler is the go-to person on the job site and a key part of bringing every JSII Builders home to life.
What Sets Us Apart
How it Started.
Founded by Jamie Smith in 2017, JSII Builders is a locally owned residential builder specializing in thoughtfully designed speculative homes throughout York County, South Carolina, and the surrounding communities. Raised in a family with deep roots in real estate, property management, and home remodeling, Jamie developed an appreciation for quality homes from an early age. He was the first in his family to carve out a career in residential new construction, building JSII Builders from the ground up with a vision centered on craftsmanship, integrity, and timeless design.
Smaller Production, High Quality
Unlike large production builders, we intentionally keep our projects limited so every home receives the attention it deserves. From upgraded materials and designer-selected finishes to hands-on oversight throughout construction, every decision is made with longevity, functionality, and craftsmanship in mind.
When you purchase a JSII Builders home, you’re buying more than new construction—you’re investing in a home built by people who live in the community, care deeply about their reputation, and stand behind their work long after closing day.
Our Philosophy
At JSII Builders, we believe a home should be built with intention—not simply produced. Every home we build is thoughtfully designed to combine timeless style, functional living, and quality craftsmanship that stands the test of time.
As a family-owned, local builder, we take a hands-on approach to every project. We intentionally build a limited number of homes so we can focus on the details that matter most—from carefully selected materials and upgraded finishes to well-designed floor plans that truly fit the way families live.
Our goal isn’t to build the most homes. It’s to build better homes. Homes that we are proud to put our name on and that our homeowners will be proud to call their own.
